Meet the team
Janette Douglas is the founder and director of The Events Collective, bringing extensive experience in planning and delivering community, sporting and large-scale events across Aotearoa.
Known for her calm, practical and collaborative approach, Janette works closely with clients to become an extension of their team — supporting everything from documentation development and logistics planning through to supporting or leadership on-the-day delivery.
With a strong background in stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, volunteer coordination and operational planning, Janette is passionate about creating events that are well-run, inclusive and genuinely valuable to the communities they serve.
